Coral Restoration Foundation

As a joint effort amongst many organizations, Sea Ventures MRU is in charge of the maintenance and monitoring of endangered coral species. From maintenance of the coral nurseries, to outplant and monitoring, we follow the faith of these highly valuable coral fragments: Acropora palmata (Elkhorn coral) and Dendrogyra cylindrus (Pillar coral).

Both of these species have been declining across the Caribbean due to heat stress and diseases.
